Healthy Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Today we've got a healthy, guilt-free dessert option for those chocolate cravings that refuse to be ignored. The main ingredient is creamy avocado (and their wonderful healthy fats), so while this mousse tastes like a chocolatey indulgence, it's actually kinda good-ish for you... Which is a win in our books. Oh, and it's super duper simple, as you're about to find out.
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados (SUPER ripe, need to be mashable)
4-5 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup maple syrup (add more to taste)
Instructions:
Put all the ingredients into a high speed blender or food processor and blend until you achieve a creamy, thick consistency.
Place it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 2 hours is preferable if you have the patience!
